Spy Kids: All the Time in the World (2011) & Armageddon (2023)

Today we have two handcuff scenes from the classic family movies, Spy Kids. The first scene is from the third movie in the sequel, which is time themed. Rowan Blanchard, who you may also know from Girl Meets World (who was also once tied with rope in the series) wears big dungeon-like handcuffs.

The latest movie Armageddon, features another handcuff scene, but only one cuff is used for one of their wrists. It looks awkward when the kids kept their cuffed wrists at shoulder height for the duration of the scene, but at least it's something.

  1. I remember seeing All the time in the world in the cinema when they did a scratch n sniff viewing it was a great film at the time. I never realised how long the chains are though, I get they probably need more freedom with thier movements to do the sign language tning but if they're meant to be handcuffed would you really need the chains to be so long? I wish the kids in ATTITW had been tied up instead, maybe back to back, especially as the girl is more prettier than the girl in armageddon. Also why are the kids in the second scene holding thier hands so akwardly like that, it makes me think those aren't proper handcuffs, if they arent they should've used real ones. If they're real fair enough thry look likr doible hindged ones so they probably couldn't turn thier wrists and were both forced into that awkward position but without ang clarity it just looks weird to me
